Datasets and Questionnaires
The IBP is engaged in furthering research on the impacts that budget transparency and accountability have on governance, policy choices, and outcomes. We also intend to conduct and support analyses that seek to identify factors that contribute to greater transparency. On this page researchers will find downloadable databases and supporting materials from the 2006 and 2008 Open Budget Surveys. Although the IBP makes this data available without restriction, we do ask that you cite the Open Budget Surveys and the IBP as the source of the data.
